1) REGULAR ALPINE BAR PRICES APPLY TO A CASH BAR – THESE ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AS THE CLUB UPDATES ITS PRICING.
2) IN THE CASE OF LOONIE OR TOONIE BARS, ONE DOLLAR OR TWO DOLLARS WILL GET GUESTS A NORMAL DRINK TICKET TO REDEEM FOR THAT DRINK. THE RENTER WILL GET CHARGED THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE LOONIE/TOONIE AND THE REGULAR ALPINE PRICE MULTIPLIED BY THE NUMBER OF TICKETS GIVEN OUT BY THE CASHIER.
3) IN CASE OF AN OPEN BAR, A 20% GRATUITY ON THE BAR BILL WILL BE ADDED TO THE FINAL BILL
4) BY LAW, ONLY FULLY LICENSED CATERERS ARE PERMITTED TO SERVE FOOD IN THE CLUB. ALL FOOD BROUGHT IN MUST BE PROVIDED BY THE CATERER OR BOUGHT DIRECTLY FROM A STORE. NO HOME-MADE FOOD OR BAKED GOODS ARE PERMITTED.
5) SET-UP: SET-UP TIME FLEXIBILITY DEPENDS ON WHAT OTHER EVENTS/ACTIVITIES ARE SCHEDULED IN THE CLUB. RENTAL INCLUDES TWO HOURS FOR SET UP IN THE RENTAL PRICE. ANY FURTHER TIME REQUIRED MAY BE SUBJECT TO A CHARGE OF $50 PER HOUR WHICH WILL BE ADDED TO THE FINAL BILL.
DECORATING: -ONLY PAINTERS TAPE MAY BE USED TO ATTACH DECORATIONS, ETC. TO WALLS. ANY OTHER MEANS REQUIRE PRIOR APPROVAL BY THE CLUB. THESE SUPPLIES ARE TO BE SUPPLIED BY THE RENTER. -ANY EXTENSION CORDS NEEDED ARE TO BE SUPPLIED BY THE RENTER OR CATERER
6) AUDIO VISIUAL EQUIPMENT: THERE IS A HOUSE SOUND AND P/A SYSTEM AND A PROJECTION SCREEN AVAILABLE FOR USE – PLEASE INDICATE IF YOU NEED THIS PRIOR TO USE SO IT CAN BE SET UP FOR THE EVENT. CABLES ARE NOT INCLUDED TO PLAY MUSIC OR VIDEOS FROM THE SYSTEM. A MICROPHONE CAN BE PROVIDED IF REQUIRED.
7) THE HALL RENTAL FEE INCLUDES: RENTAL OF THE PREMISES, SUPPLY AND SET–UP OF CLUB OWNED TABLES AND CHAIRS, USE OF THE A/V EQUIPMENT, USE OF THE KITCHEN FOR FOOD REFRIGERATION & PLATING ONLY, AND UP TO THREE CLUB STAFF.
RENTALS OF OVER 100 PEOPLE CAN REQUIRE SECURITY BY LAW (BASED ON RISK LEVEL AND DETERMINED SOLELY BY THE ALPINE CLUB) AND THEREFORE INCREASES THE BASE RENTAL PRICE TO INCLUDE TWO GUARDS FOR THE EVENT. ONE PAID BY THE RENTER, ONE PAID BY THE ALPINE CLUB.
8) CLEAN UP OF THE TABLES AND KITCHEN MUST BE DONE BY THE CATERER OR FAILURE TO CLEAN WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE TO THE RENTER BY THE ALPINE CLUB.
9) ALL DISHES AND GLASSWARE ARE TO BE PROVIDED BY THE RENTER/CATERER
10) ALL SERVING PLATTERS/BOWLS AND UTENSILS ARE TO BE SUPPLIED BY THE CATERER
11) TABLE LINENS AND CLOTH NAPKINS MAY BE RENTED FROM THE CLUB AT AN ADDITIONAL COST OR SUPPLIED BY THE RENTER/CATERER
12) BY LAW ALCOHOL CAN BE CONSUMED ONLY INSIDE THE BUILDING, THEREFORE NO BEVERAGES ARE PERMITTED TO BE TAKEN OUTSIDE OR CONSUMED OUTSIDE THE BUILDING OR IN THE PARKING LOT.
13) EVIDENCE OF ANY OUTSIDE/UNAUTHORIZED BEVERAGES FOUND DURING OR AFTER THE EVENT THAT WERE NOT PURCHASED AT THE ALPINE CLUB ARE SUBJECT TO A MINIMUM ADDITIONAL FEE OF $250 PLUS HST OR THE IMPOSED ACGO FINE OR REPERCUSSIONS (SHOULD THE ALPINE CLUB FIND ITSELF WITH A SUSPENDED LICENSE AND POTENTIAL INCOME LOSS) – WHICHEVER IS GREATER. THE ALPINE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO NOT ENGAGE IN FUTURE BOOKINGS IF SUCH INCIDENT OCCURS.
14) IF THE RENTER CHOOSES TO SUPPLY WINE FOR DINNER SERVICE (ONLY TO A MAXIMUM OF 2 BOTTLES PER TABLE) THEN THE RENTER MUST OBTAIN A LIQUOR LICENSE FROM THE LCBO/ACGO AND PROVIDE A COPY TO THE ALPINE CLUB FOR POSTING IN THE BAR, PRIOR TO BRINGING IN THE WINE.
A $15 CORKAGE FEE PER BOTTLE WILL APPLY TO EACH BOTTLE OF WINE AND COVERS THE FOLLOWING: -HANDLING OF THE WINE, CHILLING THE WINE, OPENING THE BOTTLES AND PLACING THEM ON THE TABLES, REMOVING ALL BOTTLES RIGHT AFTER DINNER SERVICE, STORING/RETURNING THE EMPTIES.
THE WINE SHOULD BE DELIVERED TO THE CLUB AT LEAST A DAY PRIOR TO THE EVENT TO ALLOW FOR PROPER CHILLING
15) SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED INSIDE THE BUILDING OR IN THE PARKING LOT – IT IS ONLY PERMITTED IN THE COVERED SMOKING AREA OUTSIDE THE BACK OF THE HALL
16) PYROTECHNICS OF ANY KIND ARE PROHIBITED INSIDE THE BUILDING AND ANYWHERE OUTSIDE
17) OPEN-FLAME CANDLES ARE NOT PERMITTED INSIDE THE BUILDING – BATTERY OPERATED TEALIGHTS OR CANDLES ARE PERMITTED.
18) TAKE-DOWN MUST BE COMPLETED IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE EVENT IN ORDER TO PERMIT CLUB STAFF TO START CLEANING AND SET-UP FOR THE NEXT EVENT UNLESS OTHERWISE AGREED TO IN ADVANCE. TAKE-DOWN INCLUDES REMOVAL OF ALL RENTAL EQUIPMENT/SUPPLIES, CATERING SUPPLIES, DECORATIONS AND ANYTHING USED TO AFFIX THESE DECORATIONS.
