The 60th Gottscheer Treffen

Hotel Information:

Planning is underway for the North American Gottscheer Reunion taking place in Kitchener on August 3rd and 4th, 2024 and we can’t wait to see you!

We have had a few enquiries about accommodations and are pleased to inform you that we have secured hotel rooms at DoubleTree by Hilton in Kitchener.

The hotel is located 12 minutes from the Alpine Club (464 Maple Avenue).  There is a link below to the reservation portal.  If you don’t feel comfortable using the on-line booking link, you may phone the hotel and reserve your room.  Call 519-893-1211 and mention Alpine Club or group code ALP.

The hotel is holding a limited number of rooms for the entire reunion weekend:

Complimentary services offered:

* includes breakfast buffet for 1 person.  There is a cost of $12 for each additional adult in the room.
* complimentary high speed internet access throughout the hotel (wireless)
* complimentary use of the fitness centre for all registered guests
* complimentary parking for daytime and overnight guests
* indoor pool
* access to on-site full service restaurant and lounge “Arbor Kitchen and Bar”

GUEST ROOM BLOCK CUT-OFF DATE:
Each guest room reservation must be guaranteed by evening July 2nd, 2024 with a valid credit card.  After July 2nd, the block of rooms will be released to the public.
Confirmed reservations may cancel 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid penalty of 2 night’s room and tax.  Cancellations must be done with the hotel’s sales office to obtain a cancellation number.
